What's up Putty Tat
Today, Tom started a new job! I am very happy for him. It was nice having him home for a bit. I think Fi was a bit sad. She loved having extra time with Daddy to ride bikes to school and push her on the swing. His new job is with Extole, and it is in SF - a longer commute but he really likes the people there and we both think that is worth the drive (or sometimes train ride!).
I have been doing some interesting marketing consulting work for a company that was started by an x-colleague of mine and it has been a great addition to my life.
My mom is staying with us right now while she begins her journey of relocating near us! She is getting used to the driving around here, becoming more confidant and learning where the grocery store, gas, Dr. all are. It is a big adjustment!
Kids are both doing great - I am loving watching their relationship develop. It amazes me that at Gabe's young age that he already interacts with Fi so well, they love each other and play together - and it amazes me when I see it. They are a lot of fun. My neighbor told me that he will save is biggest smiles for her, and she was right. Here they are playing with the curtain:
